What we do

Project
Management

Attention to detail sits at the core of our business, project planning & scheduling, costing and procurement to ensure the construction programme is meticulously managed.

Air Permeability
Testing

Air permeability assessment is a crucial phase of any refurbishment or retro fit. The result will significantly affect the energy performance of your home.

Refurbishments
& Renovation

As a full-service main contractor, we take responsibility for project delivery from concept stage to client and handover. Working in partnership with the client, architects & interior designers to bring the vision into reality.

Energy Efficient Deep Retrofitting

We are committed to upgrading ageing, cold and damp homes, making buildings more energy efficient and tackling the climate emergency, by correcting the fabric of the building with modern methods of construction, better insulation, low-carbon heating and clean power sources.

Nilan Approved Installer

Kaizen is approved to supply and install all Nilan products, including their flagship unit the Compact P.

We install for both the multi property developments and single dwellings throughout London and home counties. On completion of our installation, we will commission and provide aftercare maintenance.

Nilan’s products are recognised across Europe as the some of the most efficient decentralised systems available on the market. The compact P can replace gas boiler installations with no need for outdoor space. The integral unit provides heating, cooling, ventilation and hot water production all in one unit.

Air Pressure Testing & Thermographic Inspection services

We have expertise in conducting Air Pressure Testing for new residential and commercial buildings in compliance with government regulations. The objective of this service is to ensure that the building meets or exceeds the air permeability rating as specified in the SAP or SBEM Calculations during the design stage. Our skilled engineers can offer guidance and support throughout the process.

Furthermore, we offer Thermographic Inspection services, which is an essential tool for assessing the quality and performance of your home’s structure. Through infrared scanning, our engineers can evaluate the effectiveness of insulation in the building and determine the areas that require improvement. We provide and install airtight membranes for walls and roofs where necessary, and our recommended and trusted product is Partel, which can be found at partel.co.uk

What are the reasons for establishing the proper building tightness?

Determining proper sizing and airflow requirements of heating and cooling equipment.

Controlling outdoor contaminants, pests, and odours from entering your home.

Determining whether mechanical ventilation is needed to provide acceptable fresh air and maintain indoor air quality in your home.

Avoiding moisture condensation problems.

Reducing energy consumption from excess air leakage.

Avoiding uncomfortable drafts caused by cold or warm air leaking in from outside.
